Democratic National Convention Tent Erection | Ore Pile Covering |
This once in a life time opportunity was to provide international and national media partners with protection from the elements to broadcast feeds from the Democratic National Convention by the erection of approximately 174,000 square feet of clear span tents, Pepsi Center suite modifications, installation of over 1 mile of site security fencing, removal and reinstallation of 180 linear feet of stair handrail within the bowl of the Pepsi Center. Provided, installed and removed structural steel for Fox News media suite broadcast booth. Numerous other projects were tackled as a result of our vast construction capabilities. The project was successfully completed on schedule and had over 8,000 labor hours with no recordable injuries.

This unique MSHA regulated project required installation of "micro-pile" foundations, fabrication and erection of 1000 tons of structural and miscellaneous metals, modification of existing electrical power distribution hardware and replacement of the HVAC units, all with no impact to continuing production activity. Precision Industrial provided Construction Management services and self performed steel fabrication and erection. More than 35,000 labor hours were applied to the project with no recordable injuries. The project was successfully constructed on schedule in weather extremes typical of 9000’ elevations.
